Mugwort and Wormwood

1.Light the moxa roll with a moxa torch until the entire surface of the end is glowing evenly. (conventional lighter has difficulties to burn moxa evenly)
2. Use with Lion warmer: Insert to Lion warmer, and roll Lion warmer on the area of the body. Please use insulating to cover the area body if the lion warmer is over heat.
3. Use without lion warmer: Hold a fully lit moxa roll like a pen, move it around the desired areas, keep the moxa roll above 1-2 inches over the skin surface and remove it before it gets too hot.  
4. Gently scrape the end of the moxa roll on the edge of a dish or ashtray to remove ashes, which can block the heat and create a risk of being burnt when ashes drop off. This process may need repetition more than one time during a moxibustion.
5. After the moxibustion treatment, use a moxa extinguisher to put off the burnings roll in 5 seconds. Water is not recommended because it may cause the moxa roll to weaken, crack or become hard to burn for future usage.

1. Direct moxibustion can cause burns, which can result in pus, scarring and skin discoloration.
2. Please consult a healthcare practitioner before using moxa if you’re pregnant, or you have other health issues.
3. Do NOT use moxibustion if you are allergic to mugwort, sensitive to smoke, or have lung condition like asthma.
4. Moxibustion should not be performed over the face or over other sensitive tissues.
5. Moxibustion should not be done on children, or if done, only indirect moxa methods can be used with extreme caution.

Processing and delivery time

Orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours when products are in stock. Delivery time will take 1- 7 business days depending on your location in Canada. 

Returns

We accept returns of unopened products up to 14 days after delivery. Items on sale must be returned within 7 days. All returned items must be in their original state with the original tags and product packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase before they can be accepted for a refund.
